Change to Volatility Ratings used for Ark Life Funds

A volatility rating indicates the level to which the unit price of the fund may move up and down when compared to another fund.  We have now implemented a change to our ratings in order to reflect the guidelines set out by the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) on volatility ratings.

Ark Life Sale to Guardian Financial Services

29 September, 2014

Following receipt of the Central Bank of Ireland’s approval, Guardian Financial Services completed its acquisition of Ark Life Assurance from Allied Irish Bank on 7 May 2014. This follows the announcement on 17 December 2013 of Guardian’s successful bid for Ark Life.

There is no impact to Ark Life customers as a result of the sale.
