Important information to note when making a claim
Insurance Companies are required by law to prevent criminals from using their services for money laundering. As part of these procedures, we are required to undertake rigorous checks to positively establish the identity of our customers. Anybody who wishes to withdraw money will therefore be asked to provide proof of their identity and permanent residential address.
The primary legislation imposing these requirements on Ark Life Assurance Company dac (“Ark Life”) is the Criminal Justice (Money Laundering & Terrorist Financing) Act 2010. However, very similar requirements are in place throughout the EU.
The Surrender Claims team deals with all requests to encash open-ended unit linked policies. We will manage your request through to the final settlement of your surrender value.
Disability / Specified Illness Claims
The Risk Benefits team can help you with these too. We deal with all aspects of specified illness, total and permanent disability, waiver of premium and individual income protection claims. We appreciate that all health claims are different and need personal attention, so when you submit your claim you’ll be assigned a personal claims assessor who will deal with your claim throughout.
Maturity Claims deals with all requests to surrender policies after they have matured if a payment was not paid at the time of maturity. We will manage your request through to the final settlement of your surrender value.
